The following cancellation policy applies to all contingent members.  No exceptions are possible, due to Philmont's cancellation policies and expenses incurred in advance by the Baltimore Area Council.

THE INITIAL $300 DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

If a crew member drops prior to Sept. 15, 2009, this fee cannot be refunded unless the member is replaced and the crew size does not change.  The fee is refunded by the unit when a replacement is secured and is not refunded by the Contingent.

AFTER SEPTEMBER 15, 2009 -

If a crew member drops after Sept. 15, 2009 and prior to Feb. 15, 2010 there is a $450 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE unless the crew member is replaced and crew size does not change. The fee is refunded by the unit when a replacement is secured and is not refunded by the Contingent.

AFTER FEBRUARY 15, 2010 –

There is NO REFUND. A $450 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE PER CREW MEMBER APPLIES IF A REPLACEMENT IS SECURED. Any balance of fees is refunded by the unit when a replacement is secured and is not refunded by the Contingent.

The volunteer Contingent Contingent Leader makes the final decision on all contingent financial matters, including cancellations and refunds.
